I started a  10 year career at 20 as a Corporate Travel Agent in Nunavut (formerly NWT). I think this is where I gained many of the skills I use today; working with deadlines, managing a lot of moving parts, communicating (listening) and collaborating with the client.  Computers then started to come onto the scene. 

In my late 20’s I ran a side gig; a personal growth program that explored meditation & healing practices/modalities.  This led to working in a crystal/rock shop for a couple of years, meeting my partner and helping him run his healing practice.  

In the early 2000’s I signed on at my daughter’s supported home learning program as the school secretary and worked as a public employee for 12 years.  Many of my office management and some early web skills were anchored in this career. I became very comfortable working with computers and found that I could figure most things out and help those around me.  Again, working with deadlines, collaborating with co-workers and parents, learning on my feet. 

August 2020 I started the freelance path.  It’s been a super dynamic learning journey, allowing me to weave all of my experience into my own business. I am really good at learning on my feet.  I would never say no to something a client may need.  I love to learn.  So, I’ve gained more tools and skills in this last year than I did in the last 10 !  

I blend everything I do with a kind heart, inquisitive mind, and optimism.
